R. Wiley Studios is a painting commission business created by Rives Wiley. Rives is a multi-faceted artist, with an expertise in painting portraits, murals, sets, and wax figures. Since graduating from The Rhode Island School of Design in 2013, she has worked with commercial and residential clients in New York City, Washington DC, and Miami. In addition to her commissions, she works as a studio artist for Madame Tussauds New York where she specializes in painting wax figures.

Her exposure to so many different niches in the art world helps to feed and develop her personal artistic practice, some paintings of which are included on this website. 

​

Rives has exhibited her work across the country in solo, and group shows, as well as art fairs. She has been a Hamiltonian Fellow, a Trawick Semi-Finalist, and the recipient of multiple grants, residencies, and scholarships.
